Sorry for the double update, but I don’t think you will mind! I was so caught up with the spooky scary skeleton song that I forgot to share my Halloween surprise!

This post has nothing to do with skeletons but I really like the song and it’s Halloween, so I figured I would start off the post with that! We have unlocked another stretch goal. The neon print journal will be available to pick when the campaign concludes! Our next stretch goal is at $3000 and we are almost there! At the next stretch goal, you get the outline for Clear as Crystal! You can have a complete set of the three books along with the three outlines!

Since it’s Halloween, why don’t I mention some witchy reads? Check out this Frankenstein-inspired comic that features Mary Shelley as a kid! If you are ready to attend a school for monsters, then this is one comic you will love.!
And finally, magical kitties! My first series has talking cats, and when I saw this campaign, I was blown away. It’s a Ghibli-inspired world where the cats are the main cast that goes on magical adventures to find rare ingredients for their potion shop! (There is an English and French version available)

We did it again! Another outline has been unlocked! When the campaign concludes, you will have access to outlines for the first two books! Do you think we can push to unlock the third outline as well?
Stretch Goal: I will release my outline for Pick Your Poison! UNLOCKED!
We only have a few more stretch goals to complete and less than two weeks of the campaign left! I have a Halloween surprise for everyone, but in the meantime check out the bookmarks that came in the mail!

Did someone say bioluminescent plants? I think so! Check out this cool lunarpunk anthology that features a collection of fiction and poetry! Confused on what Lunarpunk is? It’s the opposite of Solarpunk! Solarpunk is the sun while Lunarpunk is the moon. Solar is to science, while Lunar is to spirituality. Doesn’t it sound perfect for this spooky season?
Looking for another person who realized being normal isn’t all that great? If so, you may like Kevin! The more magic Kevin uses, the more he risks destroying everything that makes him human. But that isn’t all, as there is a horseman of the apocalypse as well! Nothing normal about that.

We did it again! We have unlocked another stretch goal in the form of the pink cauldron notebook! This journal has some history. It was a heated debate in my newsletter if we should do a pink background or a cream background. In the end, pink won and was added to the campaign. Now that we have unlocked it, you can pick this version as your journal cover when surveys go out!
The next stretch goal to be unlocked is the Pick Your Poison outline! Are you ready to get another behind the scenes look at how I craft my cozy mysteries? Well, we are only a few hundred dollars away from our next goal, so keep sharing the word!

You guys continue to surprise me with your support! We unlocked another stretch goal over the weekend! I WILL BE SIGNING ALL PAPERBACKS! That’s right, if you have a paperback in your tier you are getting a signed book! If you don’t know, this campaign is a lot of firsts for me. It’s the first time I attached a face to my pen name. Majority of my friends and family found out I write from this campaign. And it will be my first time signing books! If you don’t want to miss out on this milestone, make sure to have paperbacks in your pledge! Because I can’t wait to celebrate this with you. I will do my best not to cry as I sign the books, but no promises.
As for other updates, swag has arrived! Well, just the first package, but others are due to arrive soon. The cat stickers can be added on to your pledge, but the other items are stocking (box?) stuffers! If this campaign has told you anything, it’s that I love stationary. So much that I’m adding some goodies to the boxes when I pack them! I’m so excited I just want to do a little dance!

I stumbled upon this campaign and I couldn’t believe it! As someone who kills someone professional in books, I spend a lot of time learning about death. But I realized I learn about killing someone and not what happens to the body afterwards. Wouldn’t be cool to write a funeral home cozy mystery? The ideas are brewing! Who keeps stealing all the dead bodies!
